GRS Fleet Telematics app

Terms of use: the GRS Fleet Telematics app

Version 1 · Last updated 30/10/2026

These terms cover your use of the GRS Fleet Telematics app ("the app") in ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants that can run it. By using the app, you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use it.

1. Who we are

The app is provided by GRS Fleet Graphics Limited, trading as GRS Fleet Telematics ("GRS", "we", "us"). We're registered in England and Wales, company number 09002758. Our registered office is Mitchell House, Hardley Industrial Estate, Hythe, Southampton SO45 3YH. Email: support@grsft.com. Phone: 0333 000 2055.

2. What the app is

The app is a free tool for businesses choosing vehicle tracking, theft protection or cameras. It's made for UK fleets, big and small. It:

It covers GRS products only, so it doesn't compare us with other providers.

The app works inside an AI assistant. Its suggestions and prices come from our rules, and they appear on the app's cards (the panels it shows in your chat). The assistant writes its own replies around them, and it can make mistakes. If something matters to your decision, check it with us.

3. Prices and quotes

The app's notes on prices and quotes:

Prices can change. The app gives prices for fleets in the UK only, and it shows the date of the prices it uses. If your assistant's words differ from what the app's cards show, the cards are what count, and your written quote takes priority over both.

4. Nothing is bought in the app

Nothing can be bought, paid for or signed up to in the app. Sending a request doesn't commit you, or us, to anything. You get your price and terms in writing before you sign. Any agreement with us is made separately, through our written quote and our Terms and Conditions of Sale, never through the app.

5. Using the app properly

Use the app for your own business, or for a business you're authorised to act for, and only about vehicles and equipment that business owns or operates.

You must not use the app:

If your business uses tracking or cameras, it is responsible for its own legal duties to its drivers and others, such as telling them about the tracking and cameras. We may ignore or delete requests that break these rules, and stop anyone who misuses the app from using it.

6. If a vehicle has just been stolen

The app isn't an emergency service. If your vehicle has just been stolen, report it to the police first. If it has a GRS tracker, then call GRS on 0333 000 2055: theft reporting is available 24/7. Each recovery attempt is charged.

7. Availability

The app is free to use. We provide it as it is and as available. We may change, suspend or withdraw it at any time, without notice. It relies on ChatGPT, Claude and other services we don't control, so we can't promise that it will always be available or free from errors.

8. Your AI assistant

ChatGPT is a service of OpenAI, and Claude is a service of Anthropic. They don't make, run or endorse the app. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them, including what you type and what the app returns. You can disconnect the app in your assistant's settings at any time.

9. Information, not advice

The app gives general information to help you choose. It isn't legal, insurance, employment or data protection advice. The switch planner's dates depend on what you tell it about your contract, and your contract's own terms always apply.

10. Our liability

10.1 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law doesn't allow us to limit or exclude.

10.2 Subject to 10.1, and because the app is free and gives indicative information only:

(a) we aren't liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, anticipated savings, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the app;

(b) we aren't liable for anything your AI assistant says that doesn't come from the app, or where its words differ from the app's cards or your written quote; and

(c) our total liability to you arising from your use of the app, however it arises, is limited to £100.

10.3 If you buy from us, our liability for what you buy is set by your written quote and our Terms and Conditions of Sale, not by these terms.

10.4 If you use the app as a consumer, rather than for a business, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.

11. Our content

The app, its rules, wording and design, and the GRS Fleet Telematics name belong to us or our licensors. You may use what the app shows you to make decisions for your business, and share it within your business. Please ask us before copying or republishing any of it for anything else.

12. Privacy

How we handle personal data in the app is set out in the app's privacy notice.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the app changes. We'll change the version and date at the top. The terms in force when you use the app apply.

14. Law and courts

These terms, and any dispute about them or the app, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you're a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If a court finds any part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies.
